Hello everyone,
I’ve been giving the opportunity to run the 2020 Boston Marathon in representation of Tutoring Plus of Cambridge, a non profit community based organization that provides free academic support to children in grades 4-12.
Tutoring Plus started out in 1964, when a group of determined mothers reached out to MIT students for tutoring assistance. The tutoring sessions that started at kitchens tables has now expanded into a non-profit community in which operates with five core values: Equality, Empowerment, Authenticity, Life Long Learning, and Collaboration.
Last year I photographed the Tropical Party for Tutoring Plus of Cambridge and witnessed the impact that a mentor can have on a student. As a second time Boston Marathon runner, it is of great honor to represent an organization that helps shape our youth.
Please help me raise money to support Tutoring Plus, my goal is to raise $2000.
