• We remain a strong presence in the Port neighborhood
• Ten years ago, we launched tutoring at the Rindge Towers in North Cambridge
• This year, we created flexible drop-in tutoring options
• We partner with incredible community-based organizations to provide academic support and wraparound services

Low-income and immigrant families, and communities of color, continue to face systemic barriers that shape educational outcomes in profound ways. There are complex, evolving needs that students and families continue to navigate.

• Rising chronic absenteeism in Cambridge Public Schools
• Persistent racial disparities in math and ELA outcomes
• Knowing how to support children’s academic journeys
• Continued inequities impacting low-income and immigrant families as well as communities of color

While Tutoring Plus cannot meet every need or undo these systems alone, we can – and do – play a meaningful part. We believe deeply in showing up where we can with consistency, care, and community.

Meeting The Need has never been about doing everything. It’s about listening, responding, and standing alongside students and families when support matters most.
