We have challenged ourselves to raise $70,000 at our annual fundraiser event and before the end of May, 2025.

Please donate and help us reach this goal.

By 6th grade, economically disadvantaged students receive 6,000 fewer hours of out-of-school time enrichment programming than their higher-income counterparts (Rees-Jones Foundation). This gap widens even further when we examine STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) programming. This unequal access to STEAM programming for lower-income students leads to disparate outcomes, including:

  • Lower grades and test scores
  • Lower school attendance
  • Lower high school graduation rates
  • Increase in suspensions and expulsions from school

According to data from Cambridge Public Schools, a staggering 83% of Tutoring Plus students come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.

For the 2024-25 academic year, Tutoring Plus has partnered with the City of Cambridge STEAM initiative to deliver our “MATH PLUS” programming to 110 students. Additionally, Tutoring Plus has partnered with BlocksCAD, to provide 3-D coding education to 60 students during the 2024-25 academic year. These programs are made possible by the investments of compassionate supporters like you. Every dollar you contribute directly fuels our mission, ensuring we can:

  • Recruit, train, and support hundreds of volunteer tutors.
  • Enrich our curriculum with innovative programs like Math Plus and BlocksCAD.
  • Forge partnerships with local schools and organizations to amplify our impact.

Please donate today and stand with Tutoring Plus as we tackle the educational opportunity gap head-on.

Your contribution isn’t just a donation; it’s an investment in a brighter future for our children.
